Veterans operate differently than most other in the face of tragedy or adversity in that they are more likely to use humor and camaraderie as a coping mechanism.  The famous silkies hikes are a series of therapeutic events that are designed to prevent veteran suicide by bringing veteran together using humor and camaraderie to improve mental health. 

For every purchase, INERTmugs is donating $10 to the San Diego and Oceanside Chapter of IW.  These funds DIRECLTY impact the hikers and events by allowing staff and volunteers to provide better food, porta johns, raffle prizes, and all the other costs that go along with this amazing event!!
